So far we have raised over $425 from your generosity in donating phones and cartridges. This has proven to be an extremely easy and succsseful effort. It seems people feel like they can be a part of our adoption by contributing their old phones and cartridges (what might otherwise be trash or clutter), without too much effort. We have had so many people donate their old phones, friends, family, colleagues and complete strangers alike. Grandma Fran has been very sucessful spreading the word at the YMCA and gets a phone almost daily. There are several people who have even started their own phone and cartridge drives. Donna Pierce has collected close to 20 phones, even getting her own kids to canvas their neghborhood. Kathy Zietler has collected about 10 phones and 20 plus print cartridges from her office. Uncle Howie and Aunt Jeni brought a box of phones and cartridges out to us. Dennis Franklin has fascilitated access to a huge volume of cartridges and phones through his employer. Beth and Dave Stauff just donated about 30 phones from his company. There is also a collection drive going on in Dallas TX, headed by David's dad. A list of all known donators appears on the Thank You Page.
We greatly appreciate every phone and cartridge. Each one gets us one step closer to meeting our daughter.
Thanks for your support. Keep them coming, there is still a long way to go.
